Park Home-Owners LAW REFORM Association
Our Call To Action
Here is an important update from PHOLRA
Although we are still waiting for the banking formalities and office address to be put into place, there are pressing things that affect all park home residents. One of those being the 10% Commission Charge. As you will be aware, the Universities delivered their research and the Government could make a decision on the outcome at any time.
Therefore, a team member of PHOLRA has been working behind the scenes and has prepared an update on the income from pitch fees since the research was carried out in May/June 2021 The conclusions show this to be the right time ro remove the 10% from resales and let the site owners cover the loss from the windfall they are now receiving.
We could send this to the Secretary of State, Michael Gove - but that single letter would probably get lost in the ether. However, if we do this collectively and inundate his office, we will stand a much better chance of being heard and for the Government to take notice of the new figures. Equally, by also sending a copy to your constituency MP, you are helping to ensure that many MP's are also made aware - and of course, as your MP, they have to respond to you.
Please will you help?
You can do this by copy and pasting the letter to Michael Gove
Here is a link to the letter page and here is a link to the RPI/CPI page
Please date the letter, sign it and send a copy to Mr. Gove and one to your constituency MP enclosing the two page set of RPI/CPI figures.
If you have a residents association, please ask them to copy the letter and figures to other residents on the park. By doing this we will make our presence felt and bring it to the attention of the powers that be.
PLEASE DO NOT DELAY IN TAKING ACTION - A DECISION ON THE 10% COMMISSION CHARGE COULD BE MADE AT ANY TIME.
We also have posted two wanted adverts on this website.
If you feel that you can help please email us at email@example.com
Until we are fully up and running, which we envisage will be on the 3rd April please regularly visit the PHOLRA website for updates and news.
Best wishes and thank you for your help
